City-owned landfill; Republic Services will operate it through the end of its useful life. Fort Worth sends roofing material (not taken at drop-off stations), landlord waste and contractor/landscaper loads here, and lists it as a permitted mulching/compost site. Tipping fees and hours are set by the operator and are not on city pages. Not accepted (City of Fort Worth): tires, barrels, auto parts, liquid waste, used oil and oil filters, hazardous waste such as batteries or explosives, and appliances containing refrigerants. The City lists the landfill phone as (817) 478-6462; (817) 332-7301, used in an earlier pass, is not confirmed for the landfill.
Who can use it
Fees apply to all users. The City of Fort Worth sends landlords, contractors and landscapers here instead of the resident drop-off stations. Non-city waste brought without a Grant of Privilege Agreement or hauling permit pays a Landfill Environmental Fee on top of the tipping fee.
