What it takes

Accepted

  • Household trash
  • Appliances
  • Tires
  • Construction debris
  • Scrap metal
  • Yard waste
  • Brush and branches
  • Recycling

TDS says residential and commercial customers can drop off trash, demolition waste, metals, appliances, brush and green waste. Its gate-rate page lists pickup loads by bed size (standard 8 ft, short 6.8 ft, mini 6 ft), loose compactable debris, non-compactable materials, residential recycling, non-refrigerated appliances, tires by size and an unsecured-load charge, but the dollar amounts did not load; sales tax applies to all services. TCEQ now lists this permit (MSW 1443) as "City of San Antonio Transfer Station": a permit modification application transfers it from Texas Disposal Systems Landfill, Inc. to the City of San Antonio effective October 1, 2025. Confirm the current operator and public access before visiting. TDS customer support: (800) 375-8375. The City of San Antonio Solid Waste Department is the listed owner of a 2026 "Scales Replacement and Facility Renovation" project at the station (state TDLR filing, May 30 - Aug 3, 2026), and TDS's 2026 gate-rate sheet does not list this station.

Who can use it

TDS says the San Antonio transfer station is one of five TDS transfer stations open to the public; residential and commercial customers can drop off.
