The 2026 guide says up to 4 tires (20 inches or less) are accepted, with larger tires costing extra. Household hazardous waste is collected daily and free for Corpus Christi residents: automotive fluids, used motor oil and filters, gasoline, up to five 1-gallon containers of paint, spray paint, thinners, pesticides, cleaners, pool chemicals and household batteries, in labelled containers of 1 gallon or less per item. Not accepted as HHW: commercial or radioactive waste, PCBs and dioxins, explosives or gunpowder, compressed gas cylinders, medical waste. Free mulch Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Brush and bulky items are also collected curbside twice a year. Commercial loads can also go to the City's Cefe Valenzuela Landfill.

Who can use it

Corpus Christi residents paying for City collection, bringing waste from their residence. The City website says to present a valid driver's license showing an address within the city limits; the 2026 Solid Waste guide says a valid U.S. government-issued ID is required. Non-residential haulers need a Hauler Permit.
