Not accepted
- Household trash
- Construction debris
- Concrete and asphalt
Currently closed to the public except for small loads of brush. No household waste; construction and demolition materials (concrete, lumber) are not accepted at this time. The site also holds the City's transfer station permit. The FAQ rate carries no effective date; the City Code (Sec. 22.06.051, effective October 1, 2023) lists $33.00 per ton. For household trash use the West Texas Regional Disposal Facility. The phone is the City's solid waste customer service line.
Who can use it
The work face is closed to the public; the public may bring only small loads of brush.
Payment: A deposit is required on all loads, set by load size and material: credit card, cash, or a driver's license with a City of Lubbock address (the license must match the payment method). No bills larger than $50.
