What it takes

Accepted

  • Household trash

  • Construction debris
  • Concrete and asphalt
  • Yard waste
  • Brush and branches
  • Recycling
  • Commercial waste

Formerly the Durham/RAD Landfill. Only non-hazardous waste goes in the landfill; batteries and household hazardous waste go to the hazardous waste drop-off on the same FM 523 site (see the Brazoria County Environmental Center listing). Trash in open vehicles must be covered with a tarp; no salvaging. No gate rates are published for Seabreeze: the 'Price List 2026' PDF linked from the operator page is for a California landfill (Potrero Hills), and the page also carries rate and hours text from other Waste Connections sites (Travis County, Cold Canyon). The page's FAQ says paint and chemicals go to the on-site Hazardous Waste Facility with 'Max 15 gallons or 125 lbs recieved at no charge', but that block also shows a California business phone and differs from the county's own 5-gallon limit, so confirm by phone.

Who can use it

No residency rule published by the operator. The Village of Surfside Beach says recycling is free for citizens of southern Brazoria County.
